Hi, classmates! I left the Phoenix area in 1973, the day after my wedding, having finished my BA at ASU and my first year of teaching at Clarendon School. I got to teach 70 5th and 6th graders in '72-'73 with Angie Domini and Ann Neiwold. The first 9 years, while Peter was in the Coast Guard, we were stationed in New York City, Alameda, CA, Williamsburg/Yorktown VA, Juneau, AK, and Portsmouth, VA in that order. After the Coast Guard we lived in Albuquerque, NM while he was attending architecture school at UNM. For the past 22 years I was a Title-1 teacher in Placerville, CA - a beautiful, small town in the foothills of the Sierras, about half-way between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. I retired at the end of the 2010-2011 school year and returned to Phoenix in August 2011. My folks are still here in Phoenix, but are struggling health-wise.
