Linda's Story
I married my first husband Roy Joyner in 1968 and we had two beautiful daughters Kristy and Amy. Our marriage didn't work and we divorced in 1978. I then was a gay divorcee until I met my current husband in 1984 and married him in 1986. He is also from Wewoka, his name is Larry Sanderson. After we met we moved to Texas and lived for about 20 years. While in Texas I became an insurance agent and owned a couple of agencies which I later sold. agencies for my daughter (Kristy) and her husband. In 2003 Larry retired and we moved back to Wewoka. I have since lost my parents and a brother who all lived in the Wewoka area. We now live in Shawnee where Amy (youngest daughter) lives. My daughter just married another Wewokan, Mike Moon.
I now spend time helping with my grandson Taylor who lives here in Shawnee with his mother. He is all boy and keeps me very busy. Larry & I have 10 other grandkids and 2 great-grandkids.
