Life is a long lesson in humility. A good acquaintance is a jewel, a good friend is a treasure. The only way to get what you really want is to give up what you don't want.".
More about Linda:"I love people and hate controversy. I often talk too much. I am very loyal to friends but don't allow many people know the real me. I feel it is very important to be passionate about your beliefs and to live and love to the fullest. I was blessed to have a career I loved. Police work was very important to me and something I miss. It feel like I lost part of me when I left police work. My husand, children and their spouses, my grandchildren and great granchildren, my brother, niece. nephews, 2 God Daughters, and family in general are the center of my life. I love animals, large and small. I hope at the end of the day or the end of he trail something I have done will have helped somebody or had a positive impact on someone's life. have 4 children, 2 daughters-by-love & law, one son-by-love & law, six grandsons, six granddaughters, & two great grandsons. Our small ranch has a one acre stocked catfish pond, lots of deer, quail, turkeys and a view too beautifull to describe. We've finally added horses to our menagerie. We are given our family by God. But in addition to family our true friends are our family and you all know who you are. For 35 years we have experienced things together we would have never thought prossible. At one time this was a large group of people, but when the chips are cast and the true face of friendship is shown. There are a couple of people I would have done just about anything for and now feel stupid for not heeding warnings and words from soooo many people. At the end of the day, the real friends stand tall with us. I have to admit some of the best friends we have I would not have expected to be there and supportive. I am thankfull to God and to you, for surely you know who you are, for the life time full of laughter, fun, adventures we have shared and will continue to share. And the same goes for the hard time, times we didn't think we could bear or live through it. You all were there. I hope and pray I have been as good of a friend to you as you have been to me. I love you all dearly".
