Linda's Story
Hey all! I was very social and had lots of friends in JH and elementary school, turned kinda nerdy in HS..... was into German and choir and orchestra (viola player). Made some great friends in my senior year in Orch and when a bunch of us went to Germany. (You all know who you are...)
I went to college and started studying music and ended up with a BA in Accounting from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. While in School, started working in Yellowstone NAt'l Park in the summers and fell in love with the west and the mountains. (I ended up working a total of 6 summers and a winter in Yellowstone). After graduation, I moved to Billings Montana with an assistant of mine from Yellowstone, where I lived for 1.5 years before going back to the park and ending up in Park City UT where I lived for over 20 years. I worked as an accounting manager for Deer Valley Resort in Park City, UT for 5 yrs, for the U of Utah for 8.5 years, was a Finance Manager/Controller for a non-profit organization, then ...Expand for more
as a Finance Director for an urban Indian (Native American) non-profit organization for 2 years and have settled down as a Property Accountant for the past 7 years for a corporate self storage company (EXR). I account for 25 sites across the US on a monthly basis. It is a great place to work and I have wonderful co-workers. owners and site managers that I work with.
I was with a great guy I met online for about 2.5 years until he died from lung cancer about 6 years ago in 2006. The next July I met my future husband on E-Harmony. It was just like (and even better) than the commercials..... He moved here from Colorado Springs to be with me. We are getting married in Shoreview on July 18th at the Garden Hilton Inn in front of family and friends. He is a chef at a very high end grocery store here in Salt Lake city and we are very happy together. We married 7/18/2008 and are very happy living in Salt Lake City, UT.
