Linnea's Story
Went to WIU Psych, married 3 yrs/divorced, no kids. Went to NIU got Masters in Counselng, then a doctorate (to stay out of the job market- couldn't get a job with that, either. Became EMT and worked at Kishwaukee hospital ER while finishing my dissertation.
Lot of jobs on grants, lots of unemployment, Women's Center Director at WIU '90-'94, had a half million dollar NSF grant, did well, went to U of Chicago to work with a geriatrics grant, left when my mom got sick. Both parents passed away.

an karate training in '94, black belt '98, 2nd degree in 2004, taught for Illinois Shotokan Karate CLubs for 15 years.
Parkinsons, sciatica, sidelined me. Looking for new job or independent living/assisted living. Waiting for disability benefits.
