Lisa's Story

I graduated in 1989 from TAMU with a degree in Environmental Design, worked as an architect at Planning Design Research Corp. for 17 years. In 2006 I accepted a position at Kirksey Architecture. In 2012 I started with Inventure Design. I married Phil Speros in 2001 and we have 3 children: Mia (born '96), Ava (born '02)and Matt (born '06). We live in Spring Valley, Tx (it's really a city within Houston-Memorial Villages area, near I-10 & Bingle). We have a wonderful life with our kids-chaotic with 3 kids & 2 working parents! However, we make it work and love every minute of it....Expand for more
2011-Mia is at Memorial High School, plays tuba in the band, and is a competitive rock climber. Ava is in 4th grade, SUPER smart and is a soccer player. Matt-in kindergarten and is loving, sweet little boy, playing soccer for the first time this year! We have 2 dogs to add to the chaos-Pippi, a German Shepherd and Mason, a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Love my doggies! In our spare time we like to travel (northern Michigan & Florida are favorite family destinations), hang out at home in our pool, drink wine with our friends and cook. Life is sweet when you're with the right person!
