My story- As many of you know I joined the military after my junior year. Following graduation in '84, I spent a year in Texas and then Oklahoma working in the operating room, which I totally loved! I remained in the Army Reserves until 1989, married and started a family. I have two children, both grown now and taking their own journey through life. Aside from getting married and having children during those years following my Army life, I attended Cardinal Stritch, graduated in 1992 with my first nursing degree. I say first-because I have gone back ( to Concordia) to complete my BSN and Master's, and Grand Canyon for my Doctorate. If you all remember anything about me, it was that I made my own path and walked it. My family often teases- "So just how many degrees in Nursing do you need to get it right?" What can I say- I'm remedial :-). I went back into the Army in 1995, as a Commissioned Officer, a 2LT in the Nurse Corp.
