Lisa's Story

I really don't care how my classmates remember me. I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I blow off steam by cleaning, shopping, cooking, reading bible and praying. The wildest thing that I ever did in school was to skip class inside the school building. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have transportation, lunch money, and internet to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My inspiration came from Mrs. Thompson, Ms. Emma Stewart and Mrs. Green(Middleton) and Sarah Leonardgym teacher from Richardson). These are all individuals that I still keep in close contact with. I have continued to live in the greater metropolitan area. I moved to Shawnee Mission, Ks to introduced my son to a better quality education. I then relocated to Wyandotte County because I got married and I now reside in Blue Springs, MO. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Kevin Oliver, because he was the first guy that...Expand for more
took interest in me. I don't know what happened to him. I am a die hard Chiefs fan and I just love watching football. I recently became a season ticket holder as a birthday gift from a dear friend. If I won $100 million, I'd give 10% of it to my church, then spend the rest on my son, myself and me. Attended undergraduate school at UMKC and NAU. Attending UMKC for Grad School as well. Didn't pledge or live in a dorm. My style is still conservative, but classy. I definitely do know how to make it sexy and sheik when needed. The weirdest job I ever had was being a cashier for a parking garage company. I share my home with my sixteen year old son, which I find very busy, yet fun at the same time. I think that everyone at my high school reunion would be surprised that I am a high school math and technology teacher. My first job was at The Hereford House locted on Main street downtown, where I got paid $5.15/hour + tips to bus tables. What I remember most about it is it allowed me to finally by my own school clothes..
