Lisa's Story
Life
In 1983 I graduated from UMBC with a degree in Computer Science. Then I married a Navy officer (USNA '84) in 1984 and spent 10 years as a Navy wife, living in Norfolk, Bermuda and then back to Norfolk. I quit work with the birth of my first child in order to devote myself to raising my children. I have 3 children, Nathan is 11; Jennifer is 8 and Jonathan is 6. I home school all 3 kids and this is my 6th year...Expand for more
of doing it. Very hard work, yet very rewarding. After 17 years of marriage I am in the process of a divorce. I have been living in Alabama for 7 years as that was where my husband decided we should put down roots. After the divorce, I plan to return to MD to live with my father in Balt. county, hoping to add some stability in the lives of my children and to lessen the burden on me of raising 3 children on my own.
