Lisa's Story
In a nutshell---
I graduated in 1983. Took two years off from school. Started back at Catonsville CC then transferred to UM College Park. I graduated in 1989 with a BA in Communications - Radio, Television & Film.
I worked for several companies--not quite using what I had studied (who has). I eventually went back to work after having 2 children. I worked as a Master Dispatcher for Ho.Co. Police Department. I job I adored and people I truly liked and respected!
I left there to take a position doing exactly what I wanted to do when I graduated from Maryland---be a Public Information/Affairs Officer. I've bee...Expand for more

In the middle of all of this, I met my former husband--from El Salvador--married, learned the language and the culture, bought some property down there and had two really cool kids---Liam Alejandro & Aidan Emmanuel (culturally confused names---I know but it's us!! and I'm extremely proud of the successful mixing of 2 cultures). My now-Ex and I have been separated for 7 years --though remain good friends (we have kids, afterall!!)
Now I live in Baltimore, with my 2 boys, 3 cats and a big old 110lb Newfoundland.
