Lisa's Story
I left OPRF and headed to San Diego for college. After three years there, I left San Diego and went to Tuebingen Germany. I studied there for two years and then returned to San Diego to complete my undergraduate degree (BA, English/Political Science). I then left San Diego and went to Denver to complete a Master's Degree at the University of Denver, Graduate School of International Studies. I was young and idealistic....and hoped to save the world. After I year, I received a fellowship and returned to Tuebingen, Germany for another year. 1995, I moved to the Bay Area. I have been in the Bay Area since that time, and it is where I finally grew up. I went to law school and am now a cynical attorney. While in law school I married Paul Roberts. We have been married since 2001 and have one daughter, Hannah James (born '04). Technically, my last name is Corman-Roberts, as is my husband's. However, we are both too dang busy to deal with officially changing them. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, gardening, cycling, hiking, reading (nothing that has anything to do with the law), rooting for the White Sox, Bears, Bulls (and some local teams too).
