Lisa's Story
Life
I graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Economics (which will be a shock to most of my friends, I'm sure) & worked at Nokia as a Financial Analyst for a few years where I met my husband Lance. Lance was born and raised in England but moved to Dallas in 1996 to work at Nokia and we married on 1/30/98. Up until 12/01, we lived in Coppell, TX (suburb of Dallas). Nokia relocated us to the Seattle area 12/01 where we lived until 6/05 then we moved back to the DFW area. After 4 + years of trying to become parents, Lance & I had our dream come true with the adoption of our beautiful, precious, & very loved baby girl Kayleigh. She was born in Austin Texas on 12/5/02 and we adopted her on 12/9/02. I am having so much fun staying home with Kayleigh and watching every single new little thing that...Expand for more
she does with lots of excitement and anticipation. I'd love to hear from anyone that remembers me from the many different schools I attended.
*Update 7/2/07 On 5/20/07 our son, Brennan was born. We adopted him on 5/23/07 and life with 2 is busy but lots of fun!!!
Workplace
After graduating from college (finally), I began working at Nokia and stayed for a couple of years, working as an Account/Financial Analyst. I then accepted a position at Ericsson doing similar work and left after 6 months to work at a small telecom company called Evercom where I worked for a couple of years as an Accountant and then Accounting manager. After moving to Seattle, I worked part-time as an Accountant for a high-tech start-up company and did opted for my new role as a stay home mom.....which I LOVE!!
