Lisa's Story
Life
My life is finally complete! I have a wonderful husband of almost 4 years and we just welcomed newborn twins, Robert and Angelina into our lives. While many of my classmates are busy with College Grads and welcoming grandchildren, I am just beginning the family life. I have always wanted children but the timing was never quite right and those of you who know me know that I had to kiss quite a few frogs to get to my PRINCE of a husband. It was all worth it.
Our babies are only 17 days old as I am writing this so keep tuned for updates and current pics of my new life as a mommy! So far... I AM LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT. Not sure I would trade having done this earlier in life at all as I find myself with more time, money and patience at this time in my life.
My Pets
I have the greatest dogs alive ... 3 laborador retrievers. One female, black .. her name is Shelby. She is the REAL love of my life. One is a yellow male, named Shamus. He's a real lover. And the third is Biscuit, offspring of Shamus and Shelby - yes a person has to be a bit crazy to raise 3 very large dogs in one household, but they are like my kids. est breed in the world! We have also added a "small breed" dog to our clan - Chance is a wire-haired miniature dacschund (dapple color) and although I love my BIG dogs, this little guy has done quite a job of stealing the show an my heart as well.
WORK
Who needs it? No, really... after many years of working in corporate America, I am now my own boss. I work as a personal concierge and have a maintenance/cleaning business as well. I will, no doubt, have to cut back on those things now that I have better things to focus on in life, but I don't mind that either. I figure 30 years in the working world and I'm due a little "stay at home mom" time.
FUN...
My husband and I love the outdoors and sieze as many opportunities as possible to go camping and kayaking. We have a 5th wheel toy hauler, two -2-man kayaks and a regular motor boat as well, so there is never a lack of choices for outdoor activities. Now that we have the babies we are REALLY looking forward to getting them out in the woods as soon as possible and introducing them to our love of the outdoors. I know I was introduced at a very young age and it has made all the difference in the world to me.
