Lisa's Story
After graduation I left Gresham (literally left that night, skipped the all night party and never went back except for a few visits to see Val Hagen.) In Feb. of 1976 I married Dan ,my husband of almost 44 years. We bought land and a house on his families homestead between Castle Rock & Toutle, Wa. in Sept. of 1975 and have lived here since. We had a son, Ty in 1978 and later a daughter, Casea in 1981.

or Payless Shoesource. Becoming a store manager within my first year there. I managed 2 different stores in my time there but left in 2003.
In 2007 I became a stay at home Grandma. Helping out with watching my grandson while my daughter and her husband built up a business. Then in 2011 my granddaughter came along and I watched her to help my son and his wife save the cost of daycare. Dan worked 43 years in the timber industry and retired 4 years ago. We had just begun to settle into retirement when our daughter suddenly passed away. On Sept. 5th,2019 I lost Dan. It's been a rough couple years but I am trying my best to move forward.
