Lisa's Story
I was in band , drama, summer Shakespeare with Mr. Evans. Loved everyone, but was very lacking in confidence. I was a little person with big glasses. Always challenging the rules, by skipping class. I was so smart, but bored with school. Tested out and left early, then went to work for Robin Stevens doing costume and make up. From there went on to college, two sons and several marriages. in El Cajon. Cannot believe how much time has passed since I was in High School at El Cap. I loved that school very much and I wish the kids today knew what it was like for us. 📵No cell phones, texting, or social media, we had to communicate face to face a lot. So if you were scared, like I was , it could be tough going. Oh, the nostalgia..... I will never forget the day I was locked inside the Tuba case in the band room. Thanks to Mr. Torns for rescuing me, or I would have been a Tuba shaped mummy. 😄
