Thomas's Story
Life
Returned to Richland from the Air Force 1978. Married Feb 1979. Two children both girls born 1982 and 1983. Worked for GTE, went to night school, hunted, fished, and took up serious cycling around 1989. Moved to Gresham Or in 1998 related to a promotion. Moved to Everett Wa 2003 related to new job assignment with the same company, actually Verizon following a corporate merger. Still married, 2004 will be our 25 year anniversary. Oldest Daughter Tara 22, currently serving with the US Navy in Silverdale Wa at Bangor Submarine Base. She is married and gave birth to our first grandchild July 23, 2004, a boy, Hunter James Kase. College
Attended Columbia Basin College, WSU, finished BS degree at City University of Bellevue in 1989. Went back to grad school at City U in 1996. Graduated MBA 2001.
Workplace
The bulk of my career has been with the former GTE now Verizon. In 2003 I celebrate my 25 year service aniversary. Have held multiple positions. Currently a Manager in the headquarters building in Everett WA.
Military
Joined the USAF with Dean Glover summer 1975. Basic was in San Antonio TX. Went to Electronics technician school at Keesler AFB in Biloxi MS. Was assigned oversea's, Germany, for 2 years. Met my american wife there. Returned to the States to Eglin AFB in Fl. Discharged in Aug of 1978.
