Lisa's Story
Life
I am happily married for the second time, the first time didn't go so well. I have a beautiful daughter from my first marriage, so it wasn't a total waste! We bought a house in Nevada (something I never thought possible, at least not in California). We have a dog named "Buck" and a guinea pig named "Snowflake". It's warm in the Summer and it snows in the winter, we get a nice range of seasons, which I love. We are close to a river that has lots of big old Oak trees that turn yellow and red in the fall. I work in the accounting department at a local car dealership. Been there nine years now, it was the first job I got since moving to Nevada in 1998. People who know me, know that I was a hair dresser after High School. Well, like my first marriage, that didn't work out too well, either. are going great! I do miss all my friends I left behind, I still communicate by E-mail with some of them (you know who you are)! I don't get back to Simi Valley much anymore, my parents moved to the same town where I live, all my grandparents are deceased, and most of the rest have all gone there separate ways. My cousins that are still in Simi write and send pictures occasionally, which I cherish. And I try to write and send pictures as much as I can. I am really having the best time watching my daughter grow and learn, I think she'll become a fine young woman, boys, watch out! My only regret is that I never had any more children. Due to complications with the first pregnancy, I have had problems with conceving. Oh well, I guess it wasn't in the "Big Plan". Well, I guess that about covers it, my life in a nut shell!
