Lisa's Story
I graduated from LSU in Engineering in 1990 and went to work for a major oil company. Married in 1992 and divorced in 1998, no children. Married second time in 2001 (this one's working) and now have a daughter who is 5 and a 2 year old son. I've moved around the Gulf Coast region as a project manager and I'm currently living in the New Orleans area, managing the projects department for our Refinery.
My hobbies are working 12+ hours a day and spending time with my kids and scrapbooking on the weekends. My husband is from England, so we make regular trips to visit his family, and to other parts of Europe for vacation (when I can get off work). Since we mov...Expand for more
ed to NOLA, my husband has been staying home with the kids, which makes my life much easier. He is a forensic psychologist and will go back to work when we return to Houston in August of next year. Until them, I'm enjoying the benefits of a stay at home spouse.
My husband is seven years younger and we met on the internet. Yep, one of those MatchDotCom relationships that actually worked. We are best friends and complement each other in personality. When we got together my friends figured he might be able to settle me down (given his degree) and I think they were right. Life is good, and if I'd just win the lottery so I could spend more time with family...
