Lisa's Story
Life
After a horrible first year away at
college, I took a little time off for
myself. The following year I had the
opportunity to move to Maryland and
start fresh. After working as a
receptionist in a medical office I was
given the chance to train as a medical
assistant. Finding that I truley
enjoyed working with people in a medical
fashion I took every chance I could to
learn something new. While working as a
M.A. I aslo took a course to become an
Emergency Medical Tech. After

nationally certified, I joined the local
fire department as a volunteer and began
working for a private ambulance company.
Finally, I decided that it was time to
go back to school and learn something
new. I am now certified and working as
an Ultrasound/Vascular tech. I love it.
As far as the rest of my life, it
couldn't be better. I have a wonderful
home, Jon (a terrific guy)whom i just married Dec. 22, 2002, a new step-son, 4 cats, and
a brand new car. What else could I ask
for...
