Lisa's Story

I guess it's been longer than I though since I last wrote on here! Two of my kids are now in college and so am I... again... in May I will have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. Since NCLB changed the requirements... I had to update my education...
Back on Kauai full-time... missing Thailand incredibly and will probably head back after graduation. Life in the US is waaaaay too fast!!!
Wishing I could see the names of the people who sign the guestbook without paying for classmates!
I will write my info in code so i can submit it... one has to be tricky because otherwise it won't post.

Life
I have had a great time reading through everyone's postings...so many familiar nam...Expand for more
es! Since HS I spent several years dealing blackjack at No. Tahoe casinos. I married in 1982 and have 3 children. Jeremy 16, Noelle 12 and Corey 9. We have been based in Kauai quite some time. The majority of our time at this point is spent at an orphanage with 63 children in Northern Thailand, almost to the Burma border. It is probably the most fulfilling event of my life. My kids hate when we leave even though they have the challenge of the language barrier. It is a very simple, non-materialistic and rustic (to say the least) lifestyle but a very happy one!
Glad to see everyone is doing well...times have certainly changed but reading the postings makes it seem like Lynbrook/North Tahoe High School days were only yesterday!
