Lisa Louise's Story
Where has 30 years gone? So I attended Modesto High my junior and senior year so most people probably don't even know me. Unfortunately the friends I did make I really did not keep in touch with due to the fact that I moved to Germany in 1987 and lived there for 10 years. Which I absolutely loved! But as we all know, back then there was no Facebook then or even emails so it was harder to stay connected. I traveled to many countries while there. I worked for the Army and Air Force exchange. I transferred back to the states and lived in Spokane,WA. for 6 years. While there I had 2 kids, both boys. My husband was in the military at the time and I quit working to stay home with my boys. ntario, OR for approx 6 years. Most of my work experience has been in retail management, but I had always loved baking and cake decorating. I decorated cakes for friends while I lived in Germany. And I made all of my kids' birthday cakes and my own wedding cake. I opened a cake shop/bakery in Ontario about 4 years ago which I loved, but I worked so much it left no time for my family. I had several minor health issues come up, so in addition to never seeing my family and not being able to give the shop 100% anymore I decided to sell it. My eldest son just graduated from high school and my youngest is a sophomore this year. I am enjoying being home and spending more time with them. Now that I have time, it's been fun looking up people and seeing what they are up to now. Oh and working on a million projects I never had time for in the past!
