Lisa's Story

Life I live on a small farm in western Vermont. We raise chickens and horses. I homeschool my high school age daughters and would not trade a minute away from my kids. We are active in our church,serving as short term missionaries in Wales, England and Bolivia. I play guitar in a band, Clean Slate, and we have just released our first CD entitled "Polystyrene Beaker". I love the country life...Expand for more

Few neighbors, no traffic, acres of room to walk or play, riding or training horses, clean air, homegrown food, collecting eggs in the chicken house, the quiet nights (except for our rooster, Prince Charming, who crows at daybreak), sailing on Lake Champlain, skiing in the Green Mountains, 15 miles to town and homeschooling make it too perfect. Leaving DC area was the best thing we ever did.
