Lisa's Story
Life
When I look back, I am not the same person I was 22 years ago. I've come a long ways. Got married right out of college and started working for Lawyers. Then had three children and decided to start a music lesson business which has been very good. My husband and I decided to leave the cold North and go to the Gulf of Mexico to live on the ocean as our oldest entered third grade in 1997. Sold our house and we zero'ed out financially but it was worth it! The south is a very different culture but I like it! We began investing in real estate fours years ago and this is our greatest year! I finally cut my hair short and I love it. I am an administrative assistant for now and part time piano teacher which is fun. Our oldest son is 15, daughter 12 and son 10. All healthly, talented...Expand for more
and good kids. Last week we rode roller coasters all week in Valdosta, Georgia. I hope to retire this year and focus on real estate. My husband is a full time minister and is fun to be with. We spend lots of time together. We love the ocean. There is always the down side (health issues and death of my father) but I see a lot more freedom coming my way. Raising a family is priority with me. Balancing priorities is hard. This may sound familiar to you. I vacation in New England every year and spend time with friends. I like to travel and fly around the US. In summary, God (Jesus) is good and I try to follow His advise, sometimes I don't do such a great job, but then I get back on track. Not sure if a class reunion will ever be put together again, but I will be there this time.
