Lisa's Story
I've grown in my christian faith continually throughout this adventure we call life. After High school and during college I went to Europe to visit friends and family and the 2nd time to visit my sister Farah. After college I became a social worker for children with mentally retarded, autistic and emotional disabilities. My last job was the counseling coordinator for a Christian crisis pregnancy center.
I married a pastor and we have 3 children. After 9-11 He wanted to combine his military \National Guard and church ministry and became an Air Force Chaplain. We are now serving in Little Rock, AR. My husband is now serving a year deployment overseas When he comes home thi...Expand for more

My last few years I've worked at home taking care of our three children. Our youngest child was diagnosed with kidney failure. By 2 1\2yrs old both kidneys had failed and they found stage 2 cancer. After 1 yr of chemo and 3 yrs of dialysis he received a kidney transplant. We just celebrated 3 yrs since his transplant.
I can say that working at home with my children has been the most rewarding job that God has given me. It is only by Gods grace that we are doing so well and we are truely blessed. May You seek Gods grace in all that you do.
