Lisa's Story

I have been married to Rich for 34 yrs. He went to Plymouth HS and 71 grad. We have lived in Royal Oak, Birmingham, Danbury Ct and now in Grand Rapids, Mi. We have 2 sons. Every time I go to the Detroit area someone asks me if I'm an Oberer! Cracks me up. They know they recognize me even though we've never met. I live in Grand Rapids, Mi now after living in Danbury Ct from 1983 to 1999. I was shy in school but I got over that. I used to play my guitar in the glass hall. I am a vocalist and a student/practitioner of complimentary medicine. I am a makeup artist and I do a lot of work with seniors. o comedy when I'm stressed. My inspiration comes from music, nature and family and friend involvement. My heros are my family and the support they give me in times of ill health. I love animals but cats are my Joy. We have had many over the years. I'm a Facebook junkie. If I had a do-over I would pursue my music earlier in my life and not try to deny my natural ability. I'd love to see Deny Balmer again. She saved me from myself when I was at Kimball. If I won $100 million, I'd give $1million of it to Senior Sing_-A-Long, then spend the rest on family, travel and musical instruments. I love meeting new people and welcome new friendships. I moved so much while I was in school that the friendships I made were shortlived, for the most part. I welcome new friendships and hookups from the past. Do you remember me?
