Lisa's Story
After graduating FHHS I went on to swim at a small all girls college in Gainseville, Ga. I swam for one year and then transferred to Florida Southern College in Lakeland. I graduated w/a Recreation degree and became a flight attendant with Eastern Airlines and was based in Miami. After a few years of fun, I figured I better get serious and moved to Providence, RI where I was Athletic Dir. for the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket. to Fl. and became the special events director for Greenacres Leisure Services and in 1992 married my husband, Eddie. We moved up to DeLand and now reside in Port Orange. We have two beautiful daughters who are both very athletic and are now out of college and on their own. Eddie umpires Major League Baseball so we travel a lot and own an RV and live in that a lot in the off season. I have had a wonderful life and often think back at my swimming days at FHHS!
