Lisa's Story
Life
I'm working as a Registered nurse in monterey, I'm married 3 years now. No children yet but working on it. I have 2 cats, one is bothering me now. I don't own a home yet, but who can living in california. I've been tempted to move but I've never lived any where but california, thought about chicago but it gets a little too cold there for me. My husband is from there and it's a great place to visit. We just opened a business which is rather exciting and challenging at the same time. My husband is an artist and the business features his work in the gallery and he also does murals in the local resturants and private resorts. Well this is my first time visiting this site I was just wondering who was on here. Pretty cool. I haven't seen many of you since 1993 a few of you I have on visits home. College
Well college was long and drawn out for me. I took the long road, I partied first and only took one class at a time. It's cool have no regrets, loved every moment of it, met tons of people and many life long friends. Besides I finaly got it together after a couple of years and buckled down and got my degree in Nursing. And it was well worth it.
Workplace
Well work life for me is sort of different. I work at a hospital as a registered nurse on a cardiac critical care unit here in Monterey. Before I worked on the critical care unit I worked the Dialysis/Medical surgical floor which gave me an incredible experience and good base to move to where I am now. It's hard to describe excatly what I do, but it's high pace, high stress, keep you on your toes critical, action 99% of the time. And I love it.
