Lisa's Story
Life
I have been and editor for 15 years and currently work for an online university. My husband, Erick, and I have been married for 14 years and we have a 6-year-old son, Noah.
When I do have some spare time, I enjoy reading, scrapbooking photos, creating cards, playing trivia games, and doing road rallyes.
I recently purchased an mp3 player for myself and have had a lot of fun loading up with my favorite music. I have to admit, I am stuck in a time warp of music from the 70s, 80s and some 90s. I also enjoy music by Jimmy Buffe...Expand for more

School
Teachers that inspired me the most included Mr. Bulak, Mrs. Homoly, and Miss Walsh. I would definitely go back--maybe for 1 day during my high school career--and I would have to know what I know now!
College
I attended and graduated Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a degree in Journalism.
Workplace
I am in the Editorial Department of an online university, where I can discuss with my coworkers the finer points of semicolon usage and when it is appropriate to italicize--I love it!
