Lisa's Story
Life
I have been married for 5 years and have 2 sons, ages 9 and 1. We are presently living in the OC, outside of Los Angeles. We try to spend most long weekends and holidays at our home in Las Vegas.
I've been fortunate to live and work in many great places - Hawaii, Mexico City, Chicago, Washington DC, Manhattan, Miami - but I always seemed to end up back in LA. I spent most of the 80's in West Hollywood, traveled a lot in the 90's, and have been family and career-focused in the new millenium.

ky enough to land a job in the design room for the island's largest garment manufacturer.
I took a vocational class in pattern grading at Honolulu College. Shortly afterwards, I moved to Los Angeles and completed my AAS in Fashion Design, and a BS in Liberal Arts at the Fashion Institute of Design and Technology.
Workplace
I am a freelance pattern maker/technical designer for the skate and surf garment industry, current clients include Oakley Inc., Quiksilver, and Ezekiel. In the past, I have worked for several smaller designers in LA, ran my own freelance business, and designed clothes for the 'little people' in the movie industry, such as Michael Gogin.
