Lisa's Story
Let's see, I'm supposed to say who I am and what I'm doing. Well people that remember me from Westfield wouldn't recognize me anymore, because the quiet, timid bookworm is now outgoing, fun and the life of the party.
As we all have in the last 30 years, I've been through some very difficult times and come through them as a much stronger and better person than I was before.
Work wise, the last full time position I held before having my second child was in the Financial Accounting Dept. at a major corporation. son David is nearly 12, I'm working part-time and I have my own business.
On the home front, I've been married to my husband Roger for 15 years (we actually got married in the Westfield Presbyterian Church which I was confirmed at). We moved to Basking Ridge three years ago and live on a small lake in the most wonderful community. I can't imagine living anywhere else. It's like we finally found HOME.
I love to go out with my friends drinking and dancing or just hanging out with my friends and neighbors down at the lake relaxing.
With the economy as horrible as it is right now, it's great having a beach and lake and lots of great friends right outside my door. Who needs to travel?
