Lisa's Story
Life
I have been happily married to Wayne Montz (ESHS '77) since May, 1987. We have three sons; Riley, 30, Tyler, 28, and Casey, 22...Our oldest son, Riley, graduated from ESHS in June, 2006, and graduated from Dominguez Hills University last year. Tyler graduated from ESHS in June 2008 and graduated from Long Beach State Univ...Casey graduated from ESHS in June 2014...our last son to graduate from ESHS. He's attending Art School in Santa Monica.
I still hang with m' girls from ESHS (lots of pics attached), and we (girls) enjoy that our kids are now friends as well. I work for Raytheon Company, here in ES, doing Computer Technical Support & Training. uesday and Thursday afternoons (and 2 Saturdays a month in Long Beach). I enjoy working out, so how could I resist getting paid to encourage others to love it, too? I also enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
In the spring and summer, Wayne and I love to hop on our bikes, and head down Grand Ave to the beach for a cruise to Hermosa, Redondo, or even to Marina Del Rey (Fisherman's Village) where we stop for a break and a smoothie...some things never change, right? And, by the way, riding a bike up Grand Avenue gets even harder the older we get!! :o) -- how did I ride straight up without stopping back in HS??? I feel like I'm going to pass out once I reach the top!! Yep, we're getting old! But it's still a beautiful beach!
