Lisa's Story
Life
My greatest accomplishments in life were having my two beautiful children who have suddenly become adults. Scott is 23 and Nicole is 18 and she looks like me in high school but far more beautiful and talented. I have been in the mortgage banking field since 1977 and my passions in this field are finding a solution to a problem which may have been created by someone else and most of all having a customer really appreciate being able to become a homeowner and having the American Dream. When they cry out of joy and excitement and in disbelief of this becoming a reality.
I love adventure and for 6 months I traveled in 26 states while working and throwing a little pleasure trip here and there. Meeting interesting people and stopping in places like Forks, Washington. Traveling the Oregon and Washington state coast stopping at all the wineries. On my 40th birthday skiing on Mt Hood in Oregon...mostly on my butt...but loving it. Visiting a logging vill...Expand for more
age in Washington state and hanging out with the loggers at a local pub...what a trip. Then going on up to Victoria, Canada for lunch and dashing back to Portland, Oregon.And...I was reminded the other day from one of my previous co-workers how I broke out in song and dance just to make it more entertaining...because we all know how boring it can be for 4 days of non-stop training.
I love nature...God has created many master pieces in our waterfalls and nature trails in the mountains. Have you ever noticed how many shades of green there are in the woods? How the butterflies just circle around and around you in amazement and their freedom of flight?
I miss my old high school friends and read the notes put in my annuals wondering what ever happened to you? Life is precious and short and we all need to remember to never forget the wonderful memories of life.
I miss and love you all for being a part of my life. I miss the Wade Hampton Singers and Madrigals.
