Lisa's Story
Born and raised in Gibsonia, went to K- 10th, Washington Elementary and Pine Jr. High then 10th grade at Richland High. Made good friends and of course bad friends. I grew up on Lakeside Drive, and what a childhood, hanging out with my older brother Steve and Ross and Vince Sorce. Had a good life up there, but then my Dad's job relocated to Texas right after my Sophmore year, down to a little town called Lorena, Texas. Graduated in 1982 with 41 students. Country town USA real down to earth people. Best move that could have happened to me. It was a major culture shock for me, but I found my self really enjoying this new change. 3 grandbabies: Hayven, Journie and Jaylen all girls! what a joy they are, we try and get them every weekend. I am a Sr. Administrative Assistant to the Government Department of the Brazos River Authority. Love my job, if you want to know about water, just ask.. I was interested in locating people that I grew up with in Gibsonia. My older brother Steve is still in PA, my parents and younger brother Mark are here in Lorena Texas, right outside of Waco. Yes the famous Waco Texas (David Koresh) not much is ever said about that anymore. I was thinking about some people that I was friends with up there and wanted to get back in touch with. It has been a long time. But thought I would let my old friends up there know that I am alive and well and hope all is well for them.
