Lisa's Story

Where does a person begin after being out of high school for so long? I think I've lived about 9 lives so to simplify things, I'll just share more current content. I have a 14 year old son who means the world to me. He is very involved in sports and is on a traveling baseball team. We spend most weekends, March through July, at baseball tournaments. He's an only child so he's mature for his age. He attends Jenks schools and does well. I have worked professionally since graduating from college. I've lived in Tulsa for the past 5 years. I share a home with a great man who's a wonderful step-father. Unfortunately, he works in Dallas through the week but our home is for sale and as soon as it sells, we'll be making the move to the Dallas area....Expand for more
I'm not a fan of Dallas traffic and to live in Dallas, you have to drive in Dallas. Too much construction and too many accidents. I'm spoiled living in Tulsa where a commute from one end of town to the other is no more than 30 minutes. And, if there is traffic, I know all the ways around to get to where I need to be. I'm not a big fan of Facebook for many reasons, however, I think it may be about time I join. I'm terrible about keeping up with friends and family so maybe this would help. It seems I'm always going to be busier than I prefer so maybe Facebook will close the gap and help me to stay in touch with friends and family. I guess that about sums it up. I'm basically the same person I have always been. Just older and hopefully wiser.
