Lisa's Story
Life
These days I live in Austin, Texas - a city I love. I moved here after graduating from Texas A&M in 1988. Yeah, I took a little extra time to graduate, but I had to change my field of study a few times.
Currently I am a Firefighter with the City of Austin, actually a Fire Specialist which is the rank of Driver/Engineer. I love my job and have been doing this for 13 years. I hope to retire from this career.
I just bought a house in a really great area near downtown Austin. It is so cool to be able to walk to a lot of shops, restuarants, bars, and music venues. I moved back into the city 2 years ago after living in a rural area about 30 miles outside of Austin. So, I went from acreage and lots of land between myself and the neighbors, to a small lot with many neighbors close by and foot traffic passing by each day. Very different lifestyles, but they both have their advantages.

the Denver/Metro area but started my High School days at Findlay HS, in Findlay, Ohio. I have many fond memories of both schools, especially at FHS. I enjoyed running Track and playing Volleyball at both schools. I think sports were the highlight of my school years. I have so many fond memories of times that mostly were with friends and the good times having to do with playing sports. I now still work-out and enjoy trying to keep fit. My job helps me to keep it a priority too.
Write to me if you remember me. I always wondered what happened with friends from years ago...Pam Weakly, Sara Burger, Kit Lowry, Anne Suwyn.... I would love to know what happened with some of my friends from years ago. I didn't always make the right decisions in years past... well, I still don't always. But, I think I learned from those mistakes and don't repeat them. I know I feel badly sometimes about how I let go of my friendships. I wonder how it would be if I met up with any old friends. I am so different now, it would be very interesting.
