Oh Gee...I work for a Sheriff's Department. I used to be a cop - now I work in a 911 center. I get to tell cops and firemen and EMT's where to go. I work 12 hours shifts at night so I'm chronically tired and bitchy, but hey I AM A PUBLIC SERVANT and we're all tired and bitchy. Isn't that a comforting feeling knowing the people out there protecting you are in a fatigue induced coma most of the time. Can't beat it though. Where else...Expand for more

Military
That was so long ago. I didn't get thrown in the brig, I managed to get promoted a couple of times and I got to stay over in Germany after I got out of the army for another year. It was too cool! I saw Mt St Helens blow up and got caught up in the whole Iran/Hostage thing back in the Carter days. Why can't we get this middle east thing right? This has been going on for over 23 years.
