Life I moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area with my (now ex) husband early in 2001. It's very different from San Diego, but overall I really like it. I never seem to remember just how completely hot and humid the summers are! Every year it's a surprise all over again... I have three kids now; one just started college (a total crack-up), and I can't believe it! The others are in third grade (horse crazy), and four years old (tough as nails). The baby is the only native Texan of the family, other than her Dad! Three girls, just like my sisters and I. When we first moved, I was staying home with the kids, which was a great blessing. I miss that sometimes, but I did go back to work - a great job at a pharmaceutical manufacturer. Very interesting, but the great group of people I worked with are what made it so fun.
