Lisa's Story
Left New Milford to go to school in Iowa. Studied in Spain for a year. Lived in Iowa for a while. Moved to Boston. Worked at MIT for a bit. Became a tour director & guide. Traveled the country. Moved to NYC. Got a great apartment in upper Manhattan. Worked for a German magazine publisher. Then got into the cable industry - Showtime, Comedy Central, iN DEMAND. Along the way, got a standard poodle. Decided to learn how to groom him. Then, became a groomer (in addition to my "real" job)....Expand for more
Also became a dog trainer. Also a Reiki practitioner. Worked with a feral dog in the park (who had taken a shine to my poodle) and eventually brought her in to live with us (her plan, not mine). Just recently, bought a house and moved back to New Milford! No one's more shocked than I am! Love my house, love being back. Go figure. Needless to say, the dogs love it here. ;-) Still working in the city though. But really enjoy coming home to peace, quiet and trees. And that's my story. :-)
