Lisa's Story
Life
Hi all, well it's been a wild ride for me, but I think I have finally found my niche in life. I am a mother to a wonderful son, who is 27 years of age. And secondly, an Author. Yes I have writen my first book and it has been published. The book came out on Sept. 2005 and is called For Love and Honor, ISBN# 1-4137-9393-2. You can find this book on Amazon and Barnes and Noble online. I got a divorce back in 2014, and remarried. This time to my soul mate, the love of my life. We moved to Iowa back in October from Colorado. And things are going great! The rest of my family is doing well. My brother Woody is a Composer and has written many songs. And my other brother Chris is a pastor in Montana, He has a wonderful family. Mom and Dad were Gospel singers. Held lots of concerts and sang at the church in Knots Berry Farm for several years. They now live in Castle Rock Colorado.

School
I loved school only for one reason. My friends. Although if I had to do it all over again, I would have paid more attention and gotten better grades, and I would have become a writer sooner. I also would have changed who I dated in school. It seems that I made some bad choices when it came to love. One guy can ruin, and change the course of your life. Especially when there was someone else, who could have been the right one. And to you I say, I'm sorry.
Workplace
I had worked in retail for 20 years. And had been in the same position for 17 of those years. I worked as a Loss Prevention Investigator for Sears and Neiman Marcus. I loved arresting people for shoplifting/credit card and check fraud. It made my day to know I had put a bad guy/girl away for a while. Shoplifting is a big buisness for criminals. I tried to stop as much as I could.
I am now a Park Ranger for the state of Colorado and work at Roxborough state park.
I am also writing 2 more novels. I love my life!!!!
