Sadly, we lost our son, Bradley on July 30, 2019 at the age of 22. He had Duchenne muscular dystrophy and dilated cardiomyopathy caused by Duchenne. He walked until the day he died which is very unusual with his diagnosis. His heart was the muscle that was most affected. He died suddenly and unexpectedly after his heart went into sustained ventricular tachycardia. I will never forget his strength and determination as he battled Duchenne muscular dystrophy. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at the age of 6 1/2 years. We can hope knowing that he is with the Lord and we will see him again. He was a very smart young man and taught me so much. I will miss him forever. As a family, we have a strong faith in the Lord and are very involved with our church. Our church family has been very supportive in this difficult time of grief. We also have supportive friends and family outside of our church. God has really blessed us greatly over the years and He has carried us through the really hard times.
