Lisbeth's Story
I graduated from Washington-Lee in 1989. At that time I did not know what God planned for me...A LOT!
I went to NOVA and after four years of working full time and attending school part-time I graduated with an Associate's degree in Engineering.
With God's help and much hard work, I transferred and graduated from Virginia Tech. I have been in the working force for quiet a while. I began work on my MS at Mason but was unable to finish due to the birth of my first child...
My dream now, as I tell my children is: "When I grow up, I want to be a Doctor". I am not sure that I can become that anytime soon; however, I do believe that with God's help and guidance anything is possible...

ruly believe that High School was the best time of my life. I love my teachers, Ms. Jeens, Mr. Englishman, Madame Beaston..I can not remember all the names...I am always thankful because of the wonderful gift I received from them...Education and Encouragement.
I truly believe that I could not be who I am today had it not been for all the "angels" God has placed in my path. I remember how scared I was when my freshman year arrived...I had just arrived to the States, no English whatsoever and no friends...I got the Best Teachers and made lots of friends...I am still close to two of my very best friends from HS...
Hope all is well for all my 1989 classmates...
