HI Class
My name is Lita L. Hetherington ( Bailey) I graduted in 1981 play basketball my nick name. Little J I was a program director for Crittendern county Boys and Girls Club of West Memphis Arkansas. I also worked as a teacher paraprofessional in Muddax Elementary School. When I moved to Augusta Georgia I worked as a supervisor for the YMCA's summer program and I also instructed special Ed reading at the Youth Challenge Academy. At the Youth Challenge Academy I worked with ages 14-18 that were court ordered children. Also in Augusta I was a direct care instructor at Three Springs. I taught the boys I worked with enhanced life, behavior, decision making skills and job coaching, I also work in the state, federal prison system. Iam working on having a halfway house for young youth.
Traveling with my three children and my husband because of his job. I got a lot of experience from dealing with different types of laws and environment. I saw a lot of different behaviors that can be changed in the system. For me to take this ...Expand for more
course it will help me be finding out a lot more than what I already know. I would also like to be a part of the different changes that will be made in the different organizations by taking this course. I just graduate from Everest University online with Associate in Science, also I have my Associate in Business Management, I receive my bachelors in criminal justice and also receive my masters in criminal justice. Now I’m in school at North Central University taking up emotional social Learning The purpose of this course is because of the high concern of the behaviors of our children and our youth it’s time for us to take a stand and have a powerful conversation when it comes to our children and youth for our next generation because we’d need to make sure that they are aware that we have empathy love caring and support. We need to teach them how to deal with life challenges and to handle negative behavior to teach them to have better attitudes to teach them to this escalate any situation for a better and positive life.
