Liz's Story
Life
I'm using Classmates to see where my classmates have gone, and what they are doing with their lives. And possibly reconnect with ole school friends.
I've been married to Mike for over 30 years. We have 2 wonderful daughters born in '83 & '85. We have been living in South Texas over 17 years now. We enjoy it down here, especially when Illinois is getting the severe below zero temperatures. But it was our "neck of the 'coastal plains'" that got the 13 inches of snow Christmas morning 2004! We don't get snow down here. It was a glorious surprise, that vanished in 72 hours.
Hope to hear from someone I haven't heard from since walking the halls of school.

My update... Since I posted my story years ago, my life has changed. On Valentine's Day 2016, my husband of 40 years passed ...Expand for more
away from Glioblastoma (very aggressive terminal brain cancer). He battled the cancer for 18 months. It was a valiant fight. I'm still living in south Texas. Not sure what my future holds. I may move back north to be closer to family and great friends, but don't know when. House renovations in my immediate future. Then I want to travel.
Update:
Hi. I’m back on my feet after my life did a major change. Losing my husband and recently I beat breast cancer. Also, after a year, my house renovations are complete. What an undertaking, but the results are fantastic.
Bless all those effected by Hurricane Michael, or any hurricane. Devastation is horrible!! I lived through Harvey’s 125 mph winds. Houston got the 52” of rain. Not fun! Weather these days seems more extreme than decades ago.
When I’m not traveling I enjoy making jewelry.
