Clarissa's Story
Only a few of my very best friends knew that I was four-months pregnant when I graduated. I had a daughter in November 1984 whom I had given up to a couple that my parents knew. The husband was in the Navy but also worked as a civilian and the wife was severely disabled with scoliosis to the point that she could not carry a pregnancy to full term. That is why I chose them to have my baby. Anyway, time goes by and in 2004 I received a phone call from her through my parents' phone line, which hadn't changed since high school. We got to know each other for a while before she moved out to TX. She got married and had a son in 2005. She is divorced and is planning to enter the Airforce. Because of this, my husband and I will have custody of Michael until she gets out of the military. You can see a photo of Michael in my photos.
After I graduated, I got into the bookkeeping and accounting arena and now I have a small business out of my house where I prepare tax returns for my clients. If anyone needs theirs done...... LOL.
In 1986, when I was 20-years old, I had a son and named him Jonathan David. (Jon Hall, if you read this, please know that I named him Jon after your name because the name was new to me and I loved it. My son and I lived on our ow...Expand for more
n until he was three, when we met my current and only husband, Allan Koeditz. Allan adopted my son and we changed his last name to Koeditz. I feltI finally had a complete family. That was in 1990.
In 1991, right after my brother passed over (those who might know him, his name was Tim Lizotte), my parents used some of his insurance money to throw Allan and me a proper church wedding, since our official marriage was done by notary because we could not afford a wedding. I had already had another little girl who was 6 months old when we had the wedding. We named her Jenifer Nicole. Then in 1994 we had out last child, a son named Timothy Allan. Timothy after my brother, and Allan from his daddy.
Currently, due to an auto accident and progressive fibromyalgia, I am disabled and receive SSI Disability. Boy, has my life slowed down. I went from working full-time+ at a very busy tax accounting firm to a stay-at-home mom. I don't make it to the reunions because I don't believe that I would be able to stay very long. I'm sorry to have to miss them all and seeing everyone.
I hope your life since high school has been as satisfying as mine has been. I have a wonderful family and am very happy! Take care everyone! Please drop me a line if you can.
