Kenny's Story

Life Had lots of fun and married late. Married Camille Nimmo, who swept me off my feet in October 1983. Lived in an apartment in Columbia, MD. Bought house in 1985 in Germantown, MD. Corporate relo to Atlanta in 1987. Another corporate relo to Connecticut in 1991. Camille diagnosed with cancer after birth of 3rd child in CT in 1992. Surgery at Sloane-Kettering in Manhattan and 6 months of chemo after that. Looking for a life change moved us to northern Idaho in 1994. Had 4th child in 1994. Camille's cancer returned and she died within 2 months in June 1996. 4 kids and I are still in Idaho though it would be nice to return to Maryland. School Hated junior high and senior high. Was glad to get my license and my own car. Had great fun with my school buds with street racing. Enjoyed drafting. Worked full time at car dealer when cutting classes after 3rd or 4th period. Enjoyed the sports - wrestling, lacrosse, indoor track, football. Missed several big dances due to dates getting stung by bees, injured at PE class - anything to get out of going to the dance with me! had a good time with...Expand for more
the girls and cars - Rt. 40 Ginos rules (or ruled)!! Workplace Many jobs and businesses throughout the years. Started with C and P Telephone in construction in 1971 while attending college. Did some trucking (long haul and dump truck) for a few years during a leave of absence. Moved to ATT and PBX systems in 1983. Took early out and retired in 1984 after divestiture. Started TeleServices Inc. in Baltimore in 1984. Took job with Telex Computer Products in DC in 1986 after selling company. Was recruited by Prodigy Services Company in 1987 and moved to Atlanta. Transfered to HQ in 1991 to Yorktown Heights, NY. RIF'd in 1993. Started CK International Associates distributorship in CT. Also worked for Computer Telephone out of Boston until early 1994 and moved to Idaho. Opened an Italian restaurant in Spokane in 2000. Consulted with US Postal Service and other clients as technology and project manager off and on. Started Multi-Seal NW distributorship selling commercial tire sealant products. Now a commercial and multi-family real estate investor. Loving it - the job thing is in the past!
