Lois Bettcher's Story

Went to Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University (Julie Vanek and I were on the gymnastics team together there for 1 year). I wound up working as a computer programmer for the university. In 1983 I went to Japan for a summer and went back in 1985 as a missionary. Met my husband, who is from San Jose...Expand for more
, CA, in Tokyo. Been married to the same great guy for 26 years and have 4 great kids - boy, girl, boy, boy - and a golden retriever who we tell everyone is our 5th child. We lived in Japan for 25 years until we moved to Sydney Australia in 2010 with the 3 younger kids and dog. Our eldest still lives in Japan :-( Love Australia!
