Lois's Story
After graduating from SUNY/Buffalo in English, I moved to Cambridge, MA with Jeanne Winston. After several unrewarding jobs, became an Occupational Therapist (BU 1974 MS). Worked for many years with developmentally disabled teens and adults, in a variety of settings.
Married a native of the Berkshires in 1985 and currently live in Acton, MA. Have two daughters, Abby, 21, and Julia, 18....Expand for more
Used to have noisy beagles, now deceased. Have summer cottege on Lake Champlain in Vermont.
Started new career path at several community colleges in 2004. Was the Disabilty Support Counselor; now teach a basic college reading and writing class as well as tutor in the Writing Center. I meet lots of great people from many backgrounds!
I haven't been back to Westbury since about 1995...
