Life
Well, I thought I'd better update this bio. The last one said I was enjoying my forties. According to Oprah, fifty is the new thirty. So be it. I feel young and healthy and life is still awesome. I'm divorced and my sons are 22 and 19. They are a couple of the coolest people I know. I'm continuing to teach high school English and I still love it! I am so spoiled having my summers off. t is taking so long I may just end up in Guiness's World Records! I'm still writing poetry and I sponsor some student events every year in Black History Month and spoken word presentations at the school. Living in Chicago is very exciting. There is always something to do and somewhere to go. I hate the weather here, but I must admit, I still love and miss my hometown. I visit a couple of times a year and hope to return home permanently soon.
