Lois's Story

Life After high school at I worked for Sperry Rand, got married and had two boys. In 1971, I got divorced and started to work for AZ Public Service. I started as an admin person and worked my way up to be the Project Manager for the light rail. My job was to make sure APS had enough power to feed the light rail and to make sure all our facilities were relocated so they could build the light rail. In February, 2008, I retired from APS with 37 years of service. In my opinion, it is one of the best places a person can work in Arizona...Expand for more
. I have been in a relationship with the same person for 26 years and in January 2008, Mike and I got married. After 41 years Mike retired in 2009. We have traveled all over the world. Who would have thought I would be such a traveler. Kids My oldest son Ralph Winkler, is married, with kids and after 20 years in the Navy he retired. The family moved back to Phoenix and he is a Maintenance Supervisor for Celgene. My youngest son David Rausch works for CVS as Sr. Project Manager in the business office after getting his masters.
