Lois's Story
Happily married and living in Neptune, NJ. We are selling our house to move to Manahawkin to be closer to grandkids. You can find me on Facebook as, Lois Westervelt Ziperson. I am retired from many different jobs. For 26 years I owned and ran a children’s entertainment company called A. Abercrombie Clowns. When we first started out we had 12 children’s shows in repertoire. Shows like “Cinderella”, “Pinocchio”, “The Prince Who Wouldn’t Talk”, “A Dinosaur Story”. and many more. Eventually the shows became a hassle so we dropped them and stuck with characters for school shows, corporate events, fairs and birthday partie. I. Performed as “Rusty T. g as a Lieutenant. I was also a Massage Therapist, Administrative Assistant, Bartender, Waitress, cab driver, etc. along the way.
My son Tom works for the State in an institution for The developmentally disabled for the past 16 years. He has two sons who are the light of our life. As of now, Dec. 16, 2017 his boys Logan are 16 and 6’4” and the younger boy, Gavin, is 11.
I still ride motorcycles. I am, as always, a voracious reader. I still go to as many Broadway Shows as I can. Last year I started singing with a chorus directed by Judy Daugherty (Doc) for those of you who remember her as our chorus teacher back at RHS. Once we move and get settled we are planning to start traveling. The boys are older now so our services as sitters/daycare are no longer needed. 😢 I find being in my sixties to be a great time of life.
